How the game is played
Chess boxing takes place in a ring and consists of six chess rounds and five boxing rounds. The game starts with a chess round and each round lasts three minutes. The game of chess is rapid chess in which each player has a reflection time of a maximum of 12 seconds. A match ends via checkmate, knock-out, a jury decision or exceeding the reflection time.
