Nightwatch coöperates with reforestation programs

At Nightwatch, we contribute to reforestation programs in Ecuador.

In 2008 the Ecuadorian people approved a Constitution that was the first in the world to recognize the Rights of Nature. The forests were declared fragile ecosystems. The Ecuadorian Constitution recognizes the inalienable rights of ecosystems to exist and flourish, gives people the authority to petition on the behalf of ecosystems, and requires the government to remedy violations of these rights. A well-protected forest you could say, however, there remains a need for reforestation. Nightwatch will cooperate or donate to NGO's planting trees in Ecuador.
